Lin Ge, Policy and Business Advisor

Lin Ge serves as a policy and business advisor for IAS Group, specializing in economic and financial policy analysis and interpretation.  At the same time, he holds a position at China Global Television Network (CGTN) America in Washington DC.

Prior to coming to the US, Mr. Lin Ge worked at China Central Television (CCTV) News Center as a post-editing editor (2013-2014), and Beijing Youth Daily as a business reporter (2011-2012). As a journalist, he interviewed, researched and interpreted a wide range of economic policies and business stories and gained rich experience in collecting first-hand information on policy effects on markets.

Mr. Lin Ge has a Master degree in Public Policy at University of Maryland (UMD), 2016 and dual Bachelor degrees in Journalism/Finance at Renmin University of China (RUC), 2013.

Mr. Lin Ge has abundant international experience. In 2016, he joined a two-week UMD policy research program in Peru, discussing development issues and economic policies with state and local governments. In 2015, he spent three weeks in Ethiopia as a member of UMD policy study group and joined conferences of Africa Union, World Bank, UN, US Embassy, federal government and Addis Ababa University. In 2011, he traveled to Germany to study in financial policies in EU.

Since 2015 when settled down in Washington DC area, Mr. Lin Ge has been active in business talks between the US and China, and has frequently joined policy events held by institutes around Washington DC including the World Bank, CEPR and CSIS. He is also a member of Washington International Trade Association (WITA).
